OTHER TIMBER PESTS

The damage caused by wood borers and other termites are significantly different from those caused by subterranean termites.  The only feature that they all have in common is that they attack wood.

Correct identification of the pest problem is an important step to correct management.  A wide range of insects which do not bore into wood may be found in buildings or sheltering in damaged timber and may be confused with wood borers.

Sometimes the pest has gone too far before the damage becomes obvious.  Contact us if you are unsure about anything.Â
